These hours are when the QR is up. Scan works while it’s displayed. You can leave it up 15–60 minutes after the last song. When you take it down, the chance is gone. Both times or neither. Close after open — or a later close for a late set.

When to put the QR on screen

Put the door QR on house video, the projector, or whatever screen you’ve got during the biggest hits — that’s when people at the show are already looking up. Keep it up through the set. You can leave it 15 minutes to an hour after the last song if you want more scans. When you take it down, the chance is gone.
